Use the credentials provided when you signup. Fosters and shelters have different dashboards.
4. What permissions does the app request?
The app only asks to access your device’s photo gallery for uploading pet and profile images. No other permissions are required.
5. Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored securely and access is restricted to authenticated users only.
6. Can I foster multiple pets?
Yes. Fosters can be assigned more than one pet, and each pet’s care is tracked individually.
7. Can shelters view foster activity?
Yes. Shelters can see all data submitted by their assigned fosters.
8. Can I send messages through the app?
Yes. The app has built-in messaging between shelters and fosters.
9. What happens if I forget to confirm a task?
You should contact the shelter
10. Can I edit a task after submission?
Only shelters can update submitted tasks for the current day if needed.
11. Does the app support charts or history?
Yes. Shelters can view historical data and graphs to track progress, health, and training over time.
12. What data can I log?
You can log feeding, water, medications, training, health, behavior, weight, and more depending on your permissions.
13. How do I reset my password?
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen to receive a reset email.
14. Is there a mobile and tablet version?
Yes. The app works in both devices iPhone and Ipad.
15. Is the app free?
The app is free for fosters. Shelters may choose between free and paid plans depending on features needed.
16. How can I become a foster?
You must apply through a pet in the search area, it will send an automatically message to the shelter and then the shelter can inform you the next steps for the fostering application. Once approved, the shelter can add you as the pet foster in the app.
17. Can I update my profile image?
Yes. Go to the profile section and upload a new image from your device.
18. Can shelters delete pets?
Yes. Shelters can remove pets and associated data if needed through the admin panel.
19. Can I foster again if I’ve fostered before?
Yes. Your account remains active and can be reassigned new pets if approved.
20. How do I update a foster’s contact info?
Only foster can update their info from their dashboard.
21. Does the app work offline?
No. An internet connection is required to sync data securely with the server.
22. How do I know if a task was confirmed by a foster?
In the shelter dashboard, tasks confirmed by fosters will display a “Confirmed” label.
